MILAM COUNTY KIN. Descendants from three of my family lines settled in Milam County, Texas. My paternal grandfather, Samuel Joseph Bullock, was born near Milano, lived there most of his life, died there, and is buried there. While researching Grandpa's family, I soon realized that we are connected, either by blood or by marriage, to many more Milam County families than any of us ever dreamed, often being connected in more than one way. That realization led to my trying to find out just how many Milam County families are connected to us. I also learned that BEARD relatives of my first husband settled in Milam County and that my like-a-sister best friend is related by marriage through the Milam County REESE Family, proving again what a SMALL, SMALL WORLD this is! In time, I began calling my family search, much of it relating to Milam County, the ULTIMATE JIGSAW PUZZLE. It has been, and continues to be, a very interesting quest, full of surprises along the way; and I look forward to finding more MILAM COUNTY KIN in the future. |
